Add The Hill to your home screen
It's an app that installs straight from your browser: no app store, nothing to update. Once it's on your home screen you can turn on notifications.

The Hill is installed on this device. Sign in to turn on notifications.
iPhone and iPad Your device
Use Safari for this. Other browsers on iPhone can't install it.

Open thehill.social in Safari and tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.

Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.

Tap Add in the top corner. The Hill appears on your home screen like any other app.

Open it from the home screen, sign in, and turn on notifications in Edit profile.
Android Your device

Open thehill.social in Chrome and tap the menu in the top corner.

Tap Add to Home screen (on some phones it says Install app), then Install.

Open it from the home screen, sign in, and turn on notifications in Edit profile.
Computer Your device

In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a small screen with an arrow), then Install.

In Safari on a Mac, use File → Add to Dock.
Why install? It opens full-screen without the browser bar, it's one tap from your home screen, and on phones it's the only way to get notifications.
