Live streams with the score
Pick a table on the scoreboard and the match goes out live on YouTube, the players and the score along the bottom. No staff, no laptop at the table.
For pool halls
Cameras over your tables, the score on the stream, and a leaderboard your regulars check every day. The Hill turns the matches already being played in your room into something people watch, share and come back for.
On camera now
The first room with cameras. Each streamed match keeps its video on its match page, a chapter for every rack, and the clips people cut from it.
What your room gets
Pick a table on the scoreboard and the match goes out live on YouTube, the players and the score along the bottom. No staff, no laptop at the table.
Anyone watching can clip a shot from the stream. It comes out tall and wide with The Hill on it, ready to post, and it says where it was played.
A crown for each game at your room. Take it, then defend it within seven days or it opens up again: a reason for your regulars to come in this week.
Brackets, table calls and a TV board for your events, plus the bonus auction: bids, outbid alerts, reminders, and who owes what when it closes.
Your own leaderboard, regulars, recent matches and streams, and a YouTube playlist of every match played on your cameras.
Open thehill.social/tv on a screen in the room, type the code from a player's phone, and it shows the live score as they tap.
What it takes
A mini PC on your network sends the cameras to YouTube and keeps 30 days of recordings, which is what clips are cut from. We set it up and look after it remotely.
One per table, or one per pair, mounted high. Wired into your network is best: cameras on the Wi-Fi your customers use drop out when the room is busy.
Whoever keeps score picks the table. The stream starts, the score follows their taps, and when they post the result the video stays with the match.
